Yoga instructor
Practising yoga over the past eight years has brought Brigitte Marsden many health and wellness benefits, including reduced stress levels, enhanced lung capacity and increased range of motion:

Brigitte has completed Yoga Alliance recognised 300 hour teacher training in mindful Hatha Vinyasa (Yang) and Yin Yoga. She is also a qualified classroom teacher, with a further three years’ experience of working directly with families with babies and young children.
Not teaching in a yoga studio means she can bring yoga classes to people where they are, while still providing mats and props for her students.
Freelance writer
When other young teenagers were delivering newspaper, Brigitte’s first job was proof reading Hansard compendiums for a neighbour who was a publisher. Her love of words and keen eye for detail served her well as a Graphic Designer, Technical Author and Web Communications Officer.
Since 2005, Brigitte has been published at least weekly thanks to her regular columns in the Bugle Observer newspaper, as well as other freelance writing and photography projects.
The founder, in 2009, of Beyond Words writers’ group, Brigitte encourages other writers as she continues to expand her own writing skills and seek new audiences.
Art teacher
An experienced classroom teacher, interior and graphic designer, Brigitte Marsden draws on her art school training, First Class Honours 3D (Interior) Design Degree and Graphic Design Diploma to craft enriching learning opportunities for children, youth and adults.
